Basilea Pharmaceutica China Ltd.

Basilea Pharmaceutica China Ltd. (formerly Jiangsu Innovative New Drug Reasearch Center Co. Ltd.) is a wholly owned subsidiary based in Haimen, Jiangsu Province, China north of Shanghai.

Known as "Basilea China" for short, the center was established in May 2002 and provides cost effective chemistry as an integral part of Basilea R&D.

Highly qualified scientific researchers, recruited from top Chinese universities, work to international standards. The center contains state-of the-art equipment for synthesis and purification of organic molecules, including all necessary analytical equipment such a 400MHz NMR.

Basilea China staff is part of an extended R&D team and currently focus on organic chemistry & analytics for both discovery research programs and development projects.
