Dr. Thomas Werner

Thomas Werner was born in 1956 and is a German citizen. He has over 28 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, most recently as Senior Vice President of GlaxoSmithKline where he was Managing Director for Germany and also coordinated the European oncology business. Prior to that, he was responsible for Glaxo Wellcome Germany and Central Europe, Bristol-Myers Squibb Germany and Convatec Germany/Central Europe. Dr. Werner sits on the boards of SkyePharma plc, Medigene AG, 4SC AG and SuppreMol GmbH as well as on the board of trustees of the Paul Ehrlich Foundation. He holds a degree in chemistry from the University of Göttingen.
